What is it you think you are looking for through all your striving? Can you be any better than the perfect soul that you were created to be? Do you have any idea of the potential that is dormant within you? The more you strive for small success in the outside world, the longer your inner greatness lies unused.
Who is this person you think you are trying to become? Do you really think they are better than the Divine You that already exists within? Perhaps if you stopped trying to become – you would have time to unfold.

The light of love is in everyone. The goal of this existence is to help each other let it out. This world is nothing but a silly game of hide and seek. And you are hiding from yourself.
Thus, since we only actually give to ourselves, every act of love and kindness that you give to others helps them find the love in themselves, and therefore helps you find the love that is in you.
All the games of this world are meant to be obstacles in the hide and seek with your soul. If you tire of the game and want to be found, simply stop staring at the obstacles, it gives them power and makes them real.
Let go of all investment in earthly games and sit quietly with your soul, and for those moments you will be found. And you will feel home.

There is no place you would rather live than your Divine Home. It is a place of everlasting comfort. You can still be creative and explore your possibilities, but you will feel safe and loved. As if your dearest friends have come along on your adventure and no fearful thought could possibily be a part of your mind.

To increase your peace of mind and awareness, make sure the whole day is not consumed with tasks. How much time are you allowing for silent spiritual development? Your mind’s ability to experience spiritual states develops with silence and a relaxed demeanor.
Just reading and studying spiritual concepts will never get you there. You must practice the art of opening to Cosmic Consciousness. It has to have room to flood into you. So don’t make the mistake of being too busy or task oriented. Find time to escape the world and silently open to the Divine and Loving Presence that can help you achieve this amazing awareness that some call Cosmic Consciousness.

Do you ever feel that there must be much more to life? Do you tire of the day to day mundane drama that seems to amuse everyone else? Well I sure do. I find life boring and yet I feel that there is something more. I find that humans settle for so little when we are capable of so much more. I long to explore the deepest layers of human potential and see what else we are capable of knowing.
My meditation practice has been incredible and I love exploring metaphysics. I seek the experience of supernova, that experience where we transcend our personalities and the drab limits we set upon ourselves and burst into an expanded awareness of cosmic consciousness. I have had such fantastic experiences but just can’t seem to live my life with this new level of consciousness. I want to live in a mind space that shows me this awesome insight at every moment. In fact, having these experiences actually makes me less tolerant of the day to day mind games that are being made to seem important.
So , just wondering….does anyone else feel this way?

Well, my fellow Course in Miracles Students, I have missed having classes with you. I have been settling into my new home and trying to hide out from all this winter weather. But Spring is soon here and I did agree to start up our classes again. But first I thought we could try an online sharing of ideas. You can post your thoughts to share with the rest of the class and any other Course in Miracles followers who would like to join in.
So lets start by asking ourselves – What is it that the Course in Miracles does for us?
I know for me, I seem to be an endless seeker and my mind spins around trying to solve the puzzle of life here on earth….A Course in Miracles has brought me peace, and answers. If not in a literal way, it some how soothes my soul and assures me that everything is alright and the questions have been answered. The course teaches a way of life so different from what most of us see that it is quite inspiring. I continue to read this book over and over again, gaining new insights with each reading.
What about you guys, why do you contiune to study this material?

Deep, soul level healing comes from love. If you feel you need some kind of healing in your life, have a look first and foremost at your self love. Now ask yourself a few honest questions:
If you really loved and valued yourself, what changes would you give yourself permission to make in your life?
Do you really love who you are?
Can you love yourself with all your faults and mistakes?
Is your love for yourself and others dependent on acceptable behaviours?
Learning to love and value yourself is the key to healing your life.

The biggest obstacle to healing is our reluctance to take responsibility for our own emotional dramas. Every situation that is bothering us has roots in our metaphysical karma and is here to help us heal. By looking deep into our feelings we can learn to understand what we are doing to ourselves. Healing must finally come from within, we alone can make the final shift.
There is no doubt that others can help us along the journey, but if we rely completely on others to heal our lives we will never truely learn the lesson and next life time we will face it again to see if we have really learned it.
