Cosmic Consciousness
Thursday, November 25th, 2010To increase your peace of mind and awareness, make sure the whole day is not consumed with tasks. How much time are you allowing for silent spiritual development? Your mind’s ability to experience spiritual states develops with silence and a relaxed demeanor.
Just reading and studying spiritual concepts will never get you there. You must practice the art of opening to Cosmic Consciousness. It has to have room to flood into you. So don’t make the mistake of being too busy or task oriented. Find time to escape the world and silently open to the Divine and Loving Presence that can help you achieve this amazing awareness that some call Cosmic Consciousness.

Seeking Supernova
Saturday, November 20th, 2010Do you ever feel that there must be much more to life? Do you tire of the day to day mundane drama that seems to amuse everyone else? Well I sure do. I find life boring and yet I feel that there is something more. I find that humans settle for so little when we are capable of so much more. I long to explore the deepest layers of human potential and see what else we are capable of knowing.
My meditation practice has been incredible and I love exploring metaphysics. I seek the experience of supernova, that experience where we transcend our personalities and the drab limits we set upon ourselves and burst into an expanded awareness of cosmic consciousness. I have had such fantastic experiences but just can’t seem to live my life with this new level of consciousness. I want to live in a mind space that shows me this awesome insight at every moment. In fact, having these experiences actually makes me less tolerant of the day to day mind games that are being made to seem important.
So , just wondering….does anyone else feel this way?

Life After Death
Monday, February 8th, 2010Now here is a question that has haunted us for generations. Is there really life after death? We all want to believe there is. In fact there are many many books, theories, movies, religions and mediums that will attest to this truth. But the strange part is that there is no consistent information out there. Even the major religions of the world have conflicting stories and beliefs.
So how do we know for sure or should we really even care. Perhaps we spend way to much time worrying about the after life and not enough time living a great present life. Can we ever really know for sure or do we desperately need our beliefs and feel good theories to get us through the loss and tragedy of our present life when it presents us with death.
Other interesting theories say there is no death, just a transition from one story to the next. They would say that the illusion of death is just a silly story and as meaningless as falling asleep and waking up in the dream world. Or maybe our present life is just a dream, and when in this life we dream that we die, we finally wake up to our real state of being. But there is definitely more out there than most of us realize. But we must becareful to search for our selves and not just fall prey to the answers that we are taught for our beliefs are limited by conditioning and the real truth is still out there.

Amused by Life’s Drama

There seems to be so many roles to play, and so many people demanding our attention. And yet, how can this matter if everything is an illusion?
Have we created all this busyness just to satisfy our own need to be important? And if we did not need to feel special and important then perhaps all our busyness would disappear.
We are all trapped within the walls of our own insecurity. And yet – We are all rather amusing aren’t we? We find each other’s dramas fascinating. We love to tell others of the gossip we heard about someone else’s life.
I wonder what happens when we stop finding other people’s lives amusing. What would happen if we put all our attention into our own moods, behaviors and decisions? Perhaps we would have more energy for the things we really want. If we were not so amused with the everyday dramas playing out, maybe we could see beyond them into our greatness…I always wonder why, we as humans settle for such mundane lives when we are capable of so much more?
I guess it is because we just don’t know what else there is. So few people see into the metaphysics of life to find the inspiration to shift to a different level of living…
So we amuse ourselves with the everyday dramas.
